For several years I have fought an illness and some of my medications have created a bluring in my eyes. While a magnifying glass helped with reading it simply wasn’t enough to allow me to fully enjoy a book. I used to be an avid reader and have been sad that lately I haven’t been able to enjoy a book. I didn’t have the earlier version of Kindle but was enticed to look into the Kindle2 after seeing an article in Newsweek. I bought it and have started to read. It has/is making a remarkable difference in my daily life and I look forward to continued reading. Thank you for making this available to all of us, no matter the reason for purchase. judi

His works are timely, informative, and always delivery dozens of bits of info worth many times over the price. I used this latest ebook to help me prepare the 2nd editions of Graphics on the Kindle (The “Graphics on the Kindle” Series) (2nd edition available on 3/4/2009) and Formatting Comics for the Kindle (The “Graphics on the Kindle” Series) (2nd edition available on 3/8/2009).

It is not as well written as it should be. Hard to follow sometimes and is not as compatible with Kindle DX as I would like it to be. Some websites suggested do not respond or download well. It has most of the basics, however. It could use pictures or drawings of the keys and function on Kindle DX.

When my daughter gave me a Kindle 1 a year or so ago, I was curious. After I read Steve Windwalker’s guide to the Kindle, I was in love. Now with his guide to the Kindle 2, he will make you fall in love. Here, in enthusiastic but well-written and plain English, you will learn all you need to know about this amazing device. And, if you want to keep up with advances, subscribe to his weekly emails. Kudos to Steve for another repeat five-star performance.
